Part Time Healthcare MOU— medical coverage in the case of a decrease in teaching load
Part Time Healthcare MOU—Part timers with an assignment of at least .3 FTE who have had a faculty assignment in Los Rios of at least .3 FTE for at least two of the previous five semesters now pay less than they did previously if they opt to receive medical and/or dental benefits through Los Rios.
Part timers with an assignment of at least .4 FTE who have had a faculty assignment in Los Rios of at least .3 FTE for at least two of the previous five semesters now pay the same as full-time faculty if they opt to receive medical and/or dental benefits through Los Rios.
Part-timers who do not qualify for benefits in Los Rios can qualify for the multi-district part-time faculty healthcare reimbursement program if they have an assignment of at least .2 in Los Rios and an assignment in at least one additional California community college that, combined, equal at least .4 FTE.
