What does the LRCFT have planned for you this semester?

Meet, Greet, & Eat—These gatherings are designed to be informal opportunities for professional networking with union representatives who can update you on contract changes and provide information related to hours, wages, and working conditions.

Contract Education Workshops—Led by your Faculty Union reps, these workshops are offered to educate faculty on a variety of subjects pertinent to the Contract.

LRCFT Listening Sessions—Throughout the year, the LRCFT will host a series of conversational roundtables focused on a range of topics related to your union and our contract, and broader higher education issues. These open forums are member-driven—an opportunity to strengthen your voice in the activities and future of your union! The first session will be held on:

  • Monday, February 5th, 12-1PM (FL1-8)

UndocuAlly Training—The Los Rios College Federation of Teachers invites Los Rios Faculty, Staff, and Administrators to an UndocuAlly Training. This training prepares faculty, staff, and administrators on how to provide a safe space for undocumented members of our Los Rios CCD Community. At the end of the training, you will receive a sticker that we ask you to display on your door. Your general contact information, department, and email will be put into an UndocuAlly registry that will be used as a reference guide for our Undocuscholars /DACAmented/AB540 students.

This professional development activity is limited to employees of the Los Rios Community College District and invited participants.
